State bulletin on visitation and staffing guidance

The Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Department of Aging on January 19 sent out a bulletin on long-term care (LTC) staffing surge and visitation guidance. The bulletin attachments provided guidance on LTC staffing surge from the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Department of Aging and frequently asked questions on LTC visitation that was released from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on January 6. The LTCF Omicron document provided links to the CDC updates. It also provided the update that the R3AP program is available around the clock. LeadingAge Ohio asked ODH to provide timeline scenarios for healthcare personnel isolation and quarantine guidance using a date of January 1 as the example; these ODH timeline examples are included in the LTCF Omicron document.
